I have many loves in my life, but none of them can compare to my love of motorsport. Motorsport for me is in my blood. To quench my desire I have the Silverstone web site firmly logged on my favourite’s page

Silverstone is the number one race circuit in the UK, its hosts the British Grand Prix and the British touring car championships. These two events are the two major ones that take place on an annual basis. Going to see these race events live is very simple.

Booking your tickets online or turning up on the day are the best two ways to get access. The race events themselves often have many other races throughout the day but the main event will usually be at the end. The circuit is fully visible from most vantage points particularly if you sit in the grand stand area. By going to the races live, you get to experience the sights and smells that you can not get by watching at home on the TV.

The cars themselves seem to travel at higher speeds than they do on the TV and you get a real feel of the speed these cars are travelling at. Waking around this world famous race track soon makes you realise how much history is there and how many famous drivers have raced here. Although motor racing may not be to everyone’s tastes, the circuit offers other forms of entertainment too. Like fun fares, luxury restaurants and VIP sections, all this really makes it a fun family day out.
